Navigating the maze of an OFCCP Audit


This advanced 1-day seminar is focuses on audit preparation, strategies for dealing with OFCCP, and how to response to common OFCCP criticisms and negotiate with the agency. The seminar is catered to senior HR professionals who would be in a position to manage an OFCCP and act on the behalf of their employer, and lawyers who advise on OFCCP audits. The seminar focuses primarily on compliance issues that are most commonly scrutinized, with emphasis on common technical violation triggers and more consequential allegations of systemic discrimination. Detailed recommendations for preparing for an audit are reviewed, as are separate strategies for desk and onsite reviews and descriptions of the OFCCP enforcement process. Trainers will share success stories and case studies related to negotiating with OFCCP district directors, OFCCP regional directors, OFCCP technical staff responsible for statistical and employment testing cases, the OFCCP national office, and the DOL Office of the Solicitor. The session will end with a mock audit role play.
